About
Built from
the circuit up.
DSP.Erience is a signal processing lab focused on audio: plugins that model the physical behavior of real circuits, not digital approximations.
Our approach
We don't start from samples recorded off a unit, or a network trained to imitate its spectrum. We start from the circuit: the triode cell, the transformer, the sidechain's vacuum rectifier. We reconstruct them with full circuit modeling and verify them bit-exact against a circuit simulation.
That discipline has a cost: every plugin takes longer to ship than one built on a generic saturation library. In exchange, parameter interaction behaves like real hardware, not like a curve hand-tuned to sound good in one specific case.
How we work
01
Physics first
We model from the component up — resistors, transformers, the nonlinear transfer function of a tube. No shortcuts.
02
Verified against the real circuit
Every plugin is validated bit-exact against a circuit simulation of the original hardware before a single control reaches the interface.
03
Built for real sessions
Low CPU, low latency, direct controls. We optimize for the moment of recording, not for the demo.
Lab
Research, not marketing.
Papers, technical write-ups, validation plots, and lab progress notes — the same level of technical detail VariOhm and ZenTube were designed with.
The lab operates out of Bogotá, Colombia.
